How To Get There

Stokes Bay is situated on the south coast of England between Portsmouth and Southampton in Hampshire, near the village of Alverstoke and the town of Gosport. It is easily reached by road and rail, some 70 miles south of London. If coming by car leave the M27 at junction 11 and follow the signs for Lee-on-Solent and Gosport. The Festival site is on Stokes Bay Road opposite the junction with Anglesey Road. It will be well-signposted. There will be plenty of free off-street car parking.

If coming by rail, take the train from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour (there’s also regular direct rail service from Brighton, Reading, Southampton, Salisbury, Bristol and Cardiff). The Gosport ferry pontoon is located directly alongside Portsmouth Harbour railway station. The cross-harbour ferry takes just 5 minutes. On the Gosport side of the harbour take a taxi or bus to Stokes Bay – the taxi rank and bus station are right by the ferry pontoon as is the Tourist Information Centre.
